Manager, Global Curriculum Development
Reports to: Executive Director, Global Education

General Summary: The role of manager, Global Curriculum Development is to develop the global curriculum to support our sales teams in Asia, Europe and Australia. This position is responsible for ensuring every project is managed through clear communication and defined timelines to produce challenging, consistent and quality content for the global market place.
The position must create all programs as they relate to core curriculum, marketing calendar activity and all other programs that support the sales goals of the Company.
The manager will continually re-evaluate existing school strategy and curricula to ensure it meets the needs of the global market place and is aligned with the company vision.
The manager is responsible for analyzing and tracking overall results of each Program as well as an ability to facilitate classes when necessary.
The position must work closely with and interact effectively with various key partners in a variety of different disciplines and therefore must have an outgoing, team orientated personality.
This is a great learning experience for someone who wants to develop his or her web, marketing, business, and writing skills in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop all Jurlique curricula and supporting materials including (but not limited to; Beauty from Beauty, Selling skills, spa leader’s education, coach the coach seminars and new product launch education.
- Act as a role model and resource for all Jurlique facilitators.
- Teach classes when required.
- Update and maintain all School curricula and materials.
- Maintain strong communication with all departments.
Leadership:
- Inspire, motivate and educate at all times. Be the “Education Expert”.
- Provide feedback on programs, products, selling strategies, field needs and competitive activities on an ongoing basis.
Administration/Budget:
- Forecast costs quarterly to ensure training costs remain in line with overall budget projections.
- Manage and oversee all administrative responsibilities related to job expectations.
- Develop the resource plan to deliver all training programs within cost guidelines.
Education: Undergraduate degree and/or certificate of education or business skills communication. Cosmetology and/or Esthetician license is an advantage.
Experience:
- 2-6 years as a curriculum developer, writer or copywriter ideally in a retail-focused business.
- Experience in the beauty industry a plus prior experience in a sales environment important.

- Understanding and knowledge of adult education techniques, strategies and approaches in a retail environment.
