We may be biased but the people at our farm are nothing short of incredible. It’s a small, close-knit group working together to care for our land, following our biodynamic* practices and ensuring that the botanicals that make it into our products are the best they can possibly be.
At the heart of it all is our Farm Manager, Cherie Hutchinson. “Between everyone on the team, we’ve got over 100 years’ experience if you add it all up. The one thing I love more than anything…I love people and I love this team in particular. I’m actually getting goose bumps talking about it because it’s a very unique team and it’s almost like a little family.”Read More
George doesn’t technically work on the farm but he’s a big part of Jurlique. He’s been breeding Roses since the 1960s and is the man behind our unique Jurlique Rose.Read More
“From the day you pollinate the flower until the day that you put the variety on the market, it takes about 10 years. You could die and eight years later you’re still bringing out new roses. Isn’t that wonderful?”
Pam has worked at our farm since 2005 and is somewhat of a superwoman to us at Jurlique. To give her one title would do her a disservice as she seems to be involved in most aspects of our farm – from beekeeping and biodynamic* preparations, to Bio-Intrinsic™ processes and looking after our Spilanthes and polyhouses.Read More
“I love being at the farm. It’s like being home in your own garden, I like to potter. It’s not work to me.”
Wilma has worked with us for almost 12 years on the Jurlique Farm as Field Supervisor. Every single botanical that goes into our products has been nurtured by hand by Wilma from seed to harvest.Read More
“In my time at Jurlique, we’ve never had a rejected batch of Roses and, in fact, any flowers. Our flowers are of superior quality and purity.”
Ben’s our Farm Assistant. You might find him looking after our plants with organic sprays one day and fixing machinery or digging up root crops the next. With Ben’s help, we’re able to keep our soil and plants as healthy and as pure as possible.
“What I love about my job most is being out under the sun, working with my hands and really improving what we’ve got here.”
Luke’s been working for Jurlique for over 11 years. On our farm, he’s the one who does our extractions, ensuring we get all the vital nutrients and skin-benefitting properties out of our plants and into our products.
“A lot of people are surprised that even though we’re all over the world, it all comes from a little farm in Mylor.”
For over 30 years, we’ve grown our powerful botanicals on our biodynamic* farm in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills, one of the purest places on earth. It truly is a place like no other.
